As a result, your eyes will be dry. Plus, if you don’t change your focal point for a long time, you will begin to feel eye fatigue.
Rubbing your Eyes Frequently
Whenever you feel your eyes are itching or hurting, you automatically want to rub them. But, this can break the blood vessels under the eyelids. Therefore, if you wish to soothe irritated eyes, think about using a cold compress over your irritated eyes for a few minutes. You can also use moisturizing eye drops. If you really need to rub your hands, ensure your hands are clean to avoid infections.
Overusing Eye Drops
Just like Prescription Sunglasses, eye drops give a relief to dry issues. Eye drops help address eye dryness but using them frequently can irritate your eyes. According to doctors, non –prescription eye drops won’t improve your eyes’ health, instead, they reduce the eye redness. Eye drops must only be used for a short period of time. If your doctor prescribes with a prescription eye drop, always follow the doctor’s instructions and stop using it when you experience any negative side effects.
Misusing Eye Makeup
Whatever you put near your eyes such as eyeliner, eyeshadow, mascara, and eye creams are possible risks. When applying makeup, don’t apply it near your lash line so that the oil glands are not blocked. Otherwise, infections can occur.
Reading while on the Road
If you are like other people, you may have a book or magazine to keep you busy while on a bus or car. But, reading while traveling can make it difficult for your eyes to focus. Such activity may also result in headaches, motion sickness, vomiting, and weakness.
